FAQs

1. How many providers do you have in your Network?

The Medical Bidline does not have an exclusive “network” relationship between service providers and us. We include all qualified companies in the bid process that could potentially provide the required product or service in the location where they are needed. This uniquely competitive process ensures that the opportunity to “bid” on the requested line items is extended to all of the potential providers that service that specific locale. The process itself levels the “playing field” between large and small providers and stimulates aggressive bidding, which, results in lower prices to the patient and to the industry as a whole.

2. How does The Medical Bidline ensure that the bid participants are quality companies providing quality products and services?

The Medical Bidline maintains a database on each provider in our system. We record all types of certification ratings that a provider has achieved. We collect information on providers that are required to maintain current licenses with the Department of Professional Regulation in that particular state. We also maintain information on JACHO accreditation for providers that have achieved this certification. Our goal is to continue to pre-screen providers in order to ensure that the highest levels of customer care are met and maintained. Finally, we rate providers on their ability to provide prompt professional service and product support.
